Coconut oil, yes, I am gonna use you up because I have a lot of you left, but you will be used only as a pre-poo. CASTOR OIL, even though you are sticky and thick as all get out, you are my daily lubricant.

Yall, I have been combating dry, hard hair for the longest and thought that's just how my hair was. No ma'am. That's a lie from the devil himself. I've used castor oil before as a pre-poo but never daily. Yall, I washed my hair, conditioned, got out of the shower, tears fell (because I didn't know what my next move would be), grabbed that $1.49 Castor oil I bought from Kroger in the pharmacy, put no more that a teaspoon all over, applied Elucence MB conditioner, and braided my hair in 3 braids. Yall, the next morning, why was my hair so dang soft and fluffy? Tell me dat!

That Elucence conditioner as a leave-in and castor oil is as good as a nice peanut butter and jelly sandwich, toasted with a glass of cold milk at around 11pm at night. You are not kidding...!

Your hair is GORGEOUS, period! You make me wanna go back to being natural with the quickness! In the meantime, I'mma try castor oil daily, especially on my ends. I have been a bit lax lately on my JBCO, but I need to start back because castor oil does do wonders for the hair and ends.;)

Break it down for Bubln.... what is JBCO?

I'm gonna have ot try using it like this when I get out of twists. I've been using it over night, but not on wet hair. Will try!

Hmm.seen plenty of your pics and nary a hard dry looking strand anywhere..but I digress..

I am glad to hear this about castor oil cause I have a big bottle I recently purchased. I have been putting on my ends at night and my hair soakes it right up and are nice and soft in the morning.I'm gonna try it on wet hair tonight!

I have to agree (though I only use mine once a week after washing), I bought a quart sized jug from FNWL and love it. I don't know how to use sparingly though.

Okay I know this has nothing to do with the topic but why are you telling the TRUTH!! (runs to Safeway for peanut butter and jelly)

Now see, why I have this and it's just too sticky and thick for me put on my hair along. Am I using to much or being to heavy handed???? I have added a little to other stuff but I couldnt get it to work for me along. :(

Mixed a teaspoon of amla and a teaspoon of the caster oil...worked like a charm! It can be really sticky by itself which is why it hitched a ride to the back of the closet the first time:lol:

I got mine from FNWL also. Girl I bought the 1/2 gal jug because 4 oz cost $5 at the stores in my area. My hair LOVES castor oil.
