Caruso Arrangement

Ok.. I have a set that I've been trying to use for months now. I understand about end papers, amount of steam, and letting them dry properly. I just don't understand the proper arrangement of the rollers. Does anyone have pics or can tell me how exactly to set my hair after airdrying or just to use?

I think most people just create their own arrangement.

I use only 3 to 4 large rollers! One on each side. One at the crown (sometimes) and one in the lower back. That gives my lenghth (which is between shoulder length and armpit) enough body and wave, once I brush through the hair.

I used to use a ton of small curls when I was midlength and wanted a really currly, finger combed look.

Sometimes I might, at this length, roll just the bottom inch or two of my ends and therefore use about 6 or 7 rollers. This gives a really loose bumped under look.

With Caruso, if one pattern doesn't work, I just spritz my hair and start over!

thanks so much for the help.. by spritz do you mean with water?

Yeah, with water, preferably left over bottled water (although I might also use a really lite liquid leave in...but I'd prefer not to).

I just spritz really lightly and wait a few minutes for the curls to fall and the hair to dry.

My hair is now cut in a layered "Bob" so I use the big rollers in the front, middle top toward back small rollers, back medium rollers I do it on flat iron hair. Today I experimented flipping style had a play to see so I wanted my hair flipped in the back so I use the small rollers two rows, front big rollers curled under, sides closed to ears 2 medium rollers under my aunts said my hair looked sharp like I came from the salon. I was pleased considering it was a quick experiment. Next time I will try wet hair with end papers.
