My mother saw an advertisement for it in Esssence magazine. Is this something we can use on our hair as a moisturizer?

Yes, and it's wonderful

I agree with dreemssold. I used to use the Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil for a long time. I really need to buy it again.

I use on both. I spray my scalp and hair with Surge then apply ORS Carrot Oil to my scalp and hair and put my hair in a ponytail.

My mom has Africa's Pride Carrot Oil creme and has used it for quite some time. My sis even uses it on her natural hair. But I love both Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil* and ORS Carrot Oil Creme. I use it on my dripping wet hair after my conditioner washes, and either put my up in a ponytail or a bun. This makes my hair soft and my ends well moisturized.

*Note* I was referring to Hollywood Beauty bottled Carrot Oil and not the creme.

There is a difference in the ORS and the Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil. The ORS is a cream and the other one is the actual oil.

Do you use the carrot oil on the scalp or the hair or both?

I use it on both. Every 3 or 4 days I put a little on my scalp. Every night for the first 4 days after I wash I apply it to the shaft of my hair/ends too. (after that i use healthy ends)

I really like Organics Carrot Tea-Tree Oil Therapy.

I like to use it alone or mix it with my Elast QP Recovery.

True, but also Hollywood Beauty has a carrot oil creme just like the olive oil creme. There were a lot of bad reviews of both cremes on the board. I like the fact that the actual oil made my hair soft and moisturized. I even had my mom tried it herself and she loved it. I think I'll get some more of that soon.
