I have the Healthy Hair Butter and the Mimosa Hair Honey(smells yummy). My favorite is the Healthy Hair Butter... I use it on damp or wet hair(does not work very well on dry hair) when I do my coils. I coat my hair with this...it helps the coils or twists stay. It looks very heavy, but once my hair dries it is soft and shiney, and the curls stay defined.
I also like Khoret Amen for my hot oil treatments. Kizzy Pomade for my edges (smells like real apples, pears, and peaches..you really just want to eat it!) My very close natural friends love the Healthy hair butter, Hair Milk, and the shampoos.
I'm also a big user of the body products. I take a trip to that shop once or twice a month, regardless whether or not I NEED anything.
I wanted to purchase her products. I found this place near me that sells a selection of her products. I found out about it through carol daughters' website. i may try the khoret amen oil and i really wanted to try the healthy hair butter and the mimosa hair honey. some odd reason I can smell it right now and how delicious my hair will smell when I walk down the street.
Girrrl, don't get me started on Carol's Daughter..... I love it to death. I have the Khoret Amen hair oil, Lisa's Healthy Hair Elixir, The Healthy Hair Butter, Mimosa Hair Honey, Margaret's magic, and the Kizzi pomade. I love the fact that every single ingredient in listed and it's in terms that I understand AND all products are natural.... yeah!
I really wanted to like her products cause everyone seemed to rave over them. To me they seemed ok, no big deal. However, the scents of the 3 products I got (they were a gift, thank goodness I did not buy them) were too overwhelming for me. They triggered a severe asthma attack and I wound up in the hospital. The products wound up in the garbage.
those products never did anything for me. the mimosa hair honey was good for slicking my puffs back, but i use other products that does a better job and cost less.
speaking of the prices, i was told that prices are being raised *again*. i'm glad i don't care for those products because they are too expensive for me with shipping and all.

I'm not a fan of Carols Daughter's products. I find that her hair care and skin care products coat the scalp or the skin. They smell nice but I dont feel they have any redeeming qualities in terms of long care use
I just ordered two pomades (I like heavier oils for my nape/sides/ends. I hope I liked them, I had ordered CD before but was not thrilled... I actually like Konaa products, but they seemed to have gone out of Business. I reall don't want to use Petroleum on my hair, and that's all I can find around here... I have had good results with naturals because they do more that just coat and suffocate my hair...
I just bought the mimosa hair honey and tui oil. they both smell delicious. and i used a little and i smelled the scent and i used a dime amount on my edges and it wasnt greasy. i am usually heavy handed but since i heard these products tend to be greasy i decided to use smaller amounts. that way i dont look like i did my head in crisco oil.

I have had the same experience. I'd love to partonize this company but most of the products are just to heavy and just sit on the skin/scalp/hair.
