I posted a similar thread in the children's hair forum. The marketing makes me want to buy this stuff and I'm not even a big CD fan...

I can't wait for the movie so I can take my two brown princesses!

I'm getting these for my niece
smart price point also each product is only $10
it will also be available at select Disney stores if you have one in your area

I don't think I would buy these products, but I will definitely get the barbie, which I'm sure will come out once the movie is released. So exciting!!!

^The dolls are already out! You can get all the Disney Princesses including Princess Tiana for $60 at Target!! I'm buying for my Iana Princess for Christmas!! I've waited 30 years for this!

If anything, I'd get the bubble bath for special bath times. :yep: I'm on the Princess Tiana at Target...stat!

OT: ETA: found it. http://www.target.com/Disney-Prince...se=0&index=target&rh=k:disney princess&page=1 But where's Mulan?:ohwell: I had grown attached to the little ethnic princesses...Mulan & Jasmine... So you either get Tiana or Mulan?:perplexed Of course I'd rather have Tiana of the two, but I would have loved to have Mulan to complete the set...

I don't even care about the products. I'm just glad there's finally a black princess for my daughter to idolize. I'm about tired of that Cinderella costume!!

i bought princess tiana only at target or $10.00.. I skipped the other disney princess pack. She has got enough dolls already.

i got my order....now my review and ingredients. i'm sure my review may differ from others but this is only mo of it.

fyi: my dd's hair is like 4b/ba.

the poo/co/detangler are lightly scented.
the poo leaves the hair mildly soft....mildly, i did notice an instant shine but as soon as the water was soaked up by the towel...i damp dried b4 using co, that shine turned into sheen.
the co, well it stays in place when i turn the bottle upside down. this type of co is different. its creamy but gives a dry feeling. the skin/hair absorbs this co quickly. i feel as if my hands are more moisturized than dd's hair. and don't get surprise if you see the co disappear from the hair..this was one thing i've notice about 5min after the application. and once again the hair doesn't feel soft at all.
the detangler, well, i had to continue to detangle my dd's hair even after i used this. even while i combed my dd's hair, i was detangling while i combed and i felt i had to work even harder while using it. my water/co mix works better for me. but even after using shea butter and coconut oil, i can still smell the detangler since last night.
what more can i say, aside from the scent which wasn't woodsy, there was nothing new under the sun w/ CD. she tried. i mean the packaging is cute but the product, mediocre.

i'm still hoping for the one with CD. I'm hoping she pulls through.

I was wondering if someone posted about this yet. I saw the products online about a week ago and was tempted. I can't justify the purchase except for wanting it just because ... lol.

I saw the doll at Target last or the week before. However this week, I saw the doll sold separately ... green dress and the blue one. I didn't think it was a very pretty doll. I "may" get it anyways, since it's the first black princess.

The Disney Store has tons of pretty Tiana dolls! I got my daughter 1 for her birthday and my mom got her a shirt, place mate and a collector doll in the green dress from the movie.
