yeah the prices look pretty decent doesnt look as if the prices went up on the products..well thats good that they didnt jack them up after the advertisments with Jada and now being able to get them from Sephora...

i really want to try carol's daughter products but I am strapped for money big time. Once I am done with my "use up what you got" challenge, I will try to get my paws on some carol's daughter. These products are like all natural or something? Are the portions that you pay for decent?

Yea, I saw that on the site, but I felt that they would jack up the prices. It prolly won't last long tho, because her products really can't be used on White women...

Maybe not all of the hair products, but the skin and bath products can be used on everyone. Everytime I go to the Brooklyn store, I'm suprised at the number of white and Asian people that I see there. But you have a good point. I think her target market is African Americans, but she may decide to expand her bath and body product line. I hope she does well in Sephora because they really dont have any lines that cater to our skin needs. I can NEVER find Iman products there, even though they claim to sell them :perplexed

Wish me luck girls....I just bought CD's healthy hair butter from Sephora.I feel a case of pjism coming on:D

8 oz: Water, Soybean Oil, Corn Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Sandalwood Fragrance, Essential Oils Of Sweet Orange, Lavender, Ylang-Ylang, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Patchouli, And Cedarwood, Vitamin C, Xantham Gum, And Potassium Sorbate.

Does this sound good? Price was reasonable...$12.50 for an 8oz

All of the exclusives are products that are available directly from Carol's Daughter.

Do they mean that they are the exclusive retailer carrying her line?

Another question: are the products available inside the sephora store or only sephora.com?

@atrinibeauty - Healthy Hair Butter has always been good to my natural hair, especially when it's longer. It's my classic product for doing two strand twists. It is heavy though, so I don't know how it would fair on relaxed or pressed hair if one wants to maintain body, etc.

P1

p.s. with the exception of the hair butter and the mimosa hair honey I think that ANYONE would find uses for her hair products, esp. lisa's hair elixir, tui hair oil, hair milk, the smoothies, etc. The butter and honey might fair better on those with thicker strands and a heartier texture. JMHO. Even these two could be of use if applied lightly.
