I have hair that is about an inch away from my bra strap. It's relaxed but it hasn't bee touched up since August. Which curl activator would be best for me to wear with my bun. I've found that a curl/wave wet look is the only decent way I can hide my roots nicely.

I use S Curl and it works very well. However, in light of a recent thread about Sta Sof Fro, the PJ in me decided to try it out. Like you I haven't had a relaxer since August and my new growth is out of control. What I prefer about the SSF right now is that, the consistency is lighter and it creates a wetness that I need to make my new growth lay down better. SO for right now, the S Curl is in hibernation. I will, however stick with the S Curl when I have less new growth. hth

I use S-Curl as well, I think someone said in another thread that Care-free caused their hair to tangle and it feel funny.

i dont use either of them anymore but if i were to choose id pick s-curl,.. the curlfree just didnt feel right on my hair. it felt almost drying...

I have used both the Carefree Curl and S-curl and I like the Carefree Curl better. It makes my hair really soft. The S-curl seemed to make my hair feel weird and also made my scalp itchy.
