sometimes i feel too lazy to sit under a dryer. do you think that it will be as effective if not under a dryer? can i just walk around the house with a plastic cap on for like an hour and get the same effect?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I was wondering where did you purchase your DRC-28? I am looking to buy some soon.

I think you will get the most benefit out of this product by using it with heat. At least that is what I do with my protein treatments. It just helps it to penetrate a lot deeper into the hair shaft. I would be curious of your results without heat. I got mine drc from my stylist for about 15 bucks. I have seen it retail in the regular beauty supply for 50.

Michelle, you got a good deal $15. I buy mine at BSS all over New York (Brooklyn etc). I also sold one on the Hair Product Exchange Board, you can always post there that you want to buy.

It is a liquid reconstructor by Dudley's. It has good ingredients including biotin, protein and glycerin. THere is a post on it: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showflat.php?Number=21013

I guess I won't be lazy and I will sit under the dryer! Thanks!

Go to a bss that sells the other Dudley products and ask them to order it for you. That's what I did. They had never even heard of it before. I had to show them a picture of it.
