straight or straighter. If this can be done how? I remeber someone posting this sometime ago but I can't find a post. I have lots of setting lotion and I just want to try to tame the fro a bit and I miss rolling my hair.

are you trying to wear it in a straight style or curled? I rollerset my natural hair for curly looks in flexirods and on straws. When I get my hair straightened it is usually rollerset on big rollers and then flat ironed/pressed

Straight. what do you use when you set i t on big rollers. That would work out great because then I could flat iron it.

I think Bublnbrnsuga rollerset her natural hair and had it come out pretty straight. I can't remember for sure though.

I cant use heat on my hair.

But I remember when my mom used to rollerset my hair as a kid, she would set it with setting lotion on rollers. Let it air dry. The extra step that I would add (so that I dont use heat) is add a anti humectant to my leave in and after my hair has air dried....take it down an wrap my hair and sleep on it overnight.

As you can see that routine would take two days at least...so wearing my hair straight would be on a rare occasion.

Suffice it to say - it can be done on natural hair. I did it a few years ago and my hair was basically as straight as if I had relaxed or pressed it.

Hopefully the yahoo site will be back up eventually.
