just curious because I am really ready for jet black hair and really don't feel like waiting 12 hours for the doggone henna to sit. Can you mix and apply less than 12 hours???

I put indigo, only, on my gray hair without henna and it worked. I just added hot water to the indigo and let it sit for an hour or two.

If you henna every time you indigo you won't get jet black. :nono: You only need to have henna'd once. All the rest should be indigo only. Henna and indigo together make a browish red color not jet black.

how were your results?

That is a question you may want to ask at the hennaforhair.com site. I know the lady that runs that site advised me to only use body-art quality HENNA on previously colored hair, but I do not know about indigo.....
