CAN SOMONE TELL ME WHAT YOU USE MANGO BUTTER FOR?

I have some QP Mango butter and I have been using it when I do my bantu knot set on wet hair but what do you ladies use it for? Because I am finding that I dont think I really need it. I would like to try something else. It gives no sheen or anything so I'm not sure what its for. And when I wear my hair straight I wouldn't dare put that on my ends. They would be flat as new concrete.

WT - mango butter, for me, works better as a skin moisturizer during the cold months....i mix it with shea butter, cocoa butter, and jojoba oil......

I've only used it once on wet hair to do twists. I too would like to know what others are using it for. It gave my hair a nice shine, but so does just about anything else I put on my hair. I just really like the smell...

When I had it, I used it to moisturize my ends. I don't really see use for it, and I like Profectiv better so I quit.

Profectiv is a lot better than the mango butter. I'm going to buy some more profective this weekend.

Does Prefectiv have a pleasant smell? And which Perfectiv product are you using?

When I used to use it, I used it to seal in moisture and help all my newgrowth lay down

Profectiv smells pretty good (all of their products) for some reason the 3n1 oil smells best to me... but I like the Healthy Ends and Mega Growth. I have the Anti Itch Serum, but I HATE the way that smells.. okay yeah, thats the only one that smells.

I use it to moisturize my hair (while damp) and also apply it to my ends when I wear it in twists. My hair stays very soft with EQP Mango Butter and the beauty is that I only need a little bit.

I use the elasta mango butter to slick my hair back....it kind of works like a gel for me, it smoothes back all the frizzies.

I use it for a braided and rolled style. I apply elasta qp mango butter to hair and braid it. Then I apply rollers. See link:

Do any of you find that it cakes up in your hair? I noticed that about this. I find little white specks from it like its not absorbing in the hair or something

I've not had this problem - maybe you're putting a too much on?? I only use a small amount and that's usually sufficient for me. Maybe you're experiencing product build-up and may need to clarify and then you can try it again. HTH
