Also, how exactly do you use it to smooth your relaxer?

you simply use it to apply the relaxer to target the new growth only. smoothing is probably best done with the back of a comb

I disagree, I think smoothing is best done while applying the relaxer with the tint brush...just my opinion.

you are probably right. i was guessing plus stylist do them differently. my stylist does not use the lint brush. you should know better than me on this since you used to be a stylist
