Can someone please explain the ponytail method....

for drying your hair. I know its posted somewhere, but i couldn't find it. I want to start doing daily rinses and condition washes and i was thinking about the agony of combing the tangles. Will this help me with my tangles and make my hair easy to comb. Also i remember that someone posted about how to do condition washes. Can someone help me please, i would appreciate it.
