I don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it, but why do you want to do this, if you don't mind my asking?

Yes you can. A lot of ladies do protein treatments on dry hair.

Personally I like to deep condition on damp hair, never soaking wet.

Yes, I've tried it one time before and it worked fine. I really didn't notice a difference, but I think I prefer to do it on wet hair as well.

Question, are you planning on deep conditioning your hair while it is dry on hair that hasn't been washed or are you going to deep condition when it is dry after you washed it? I ask because for me, I use a leave-in, moisturizer, oil and sometimes gel on my hair and with all of those products on my hair, there isn't a deep conditioner in the world that is gonna penetrate through all of that stuff to get inside my hair strands. Some people deep condition on dry hair and it works for them, it just doesn't work for me. I deep condition my hair when it is damp after I've washed it. Try it both ways and see which is better for you:)

OT: Cat Eyes, I LOVE your eye make-up!

I only do my henna treatments on dry hair, I suppose that's not really the same thing. But I have used deep conditioners on dry hair and it works fine.

I have put deep conditioner on dry hair and then sat with the heat cap. I find this is always helpful but that it works the best for me if I don't have a lot of build up or haven't been using a lot of products with silicones in them.

Can you put deep condish on dry hair? Will it work as well?

Every other week, I deep condition like this. I skip the shampoo entirely. I would do this every week if I could! It is the BOMB!!!!

The reason I want to do it b/c I am really lazy ( ), see, and I don't like having to either (a) get in the shower to wash my hair, then get out, then get back in -- see the hassle?; or (b) wash in my sink, sit under dryer, wash in shower. Mind, b doesn't take as long but I'm always looking for ways to be more efficient! I'll have to think on it now though, seeing as I am also frugal and don't want to use more conditioner than I have to.

I'll check back in the morning to see what the consensus is. Good nite!

Works even better IMO but you will need to use about 2x more conditioner.

Yep yep! I notice I have to use double conditioner because my dry hair soaks up conditioner faster. But the results is unbelievable.
