Okay so I am still clueless about my hair
I have been on this journey since about april and am still lost
I have no staple products, kind of staple method
My hair still gets dry, a LOT of shedding
But back to the topic at hand

I throw a shower cap on every night and sometimes just on the ends
Does baggying helps for naturals too? (I ask b/c I notice its usually the relaxed talking about baggying)
My hair is always damp in the morning and i rarely put something on my hair when I baggy.... well unless its ends only
Is this right?
Its only been almost 2 months since I trimmed it
But I feel like I am getting no where, no growth, no change, and I cant even tell what products do to my hair... I use them and I just dont no if it helps/hurts AND I can't tell if my hair is growing b/c its not like Its straightened.. but its only been 2 months :(

Wow this is turning into something other than my title up there

Well yea.....
suggestions anyone? answers? :ohwell:

i baggie almost every night a little wgo or olive oil on the ends wake up untwist an go

I baggy! I'm still in the TWA phase so I just spray the whole head and then oil it/ MTG it/ do some type of moisturizing and then put the plastic cap on and the put the scarf on.

I baggy almost every night. I have been doing this for about 5 months or so, and yes it has given me growth spurts and helped me to combat dryness. I have reached my third hair goal below the collar bone (stretched ) and I am well on my way to APL (arm pit length) I use wgo, surge, castor, on my scalp depending on what I have handing put a plastic bago on and go. Ekomba advised my to baggy .. she is the bagy queen. (swears by it)

1 1/2 years natual started off scall head/ bald head

I baggie almost every night. My mixture is some Qhemet heavy cream & any type of oil (mainly coconut oil or WGO) as a sealant. I also put a little cheap condish/water spritz in my baggie and on my ends, It really helps.

I started baggying everynight. I spray my hair with a glycerine/water mix, then I apply an oil, and then throw on a shower cap. In the morning I wash, cowash, or just rinse my hair. My hair is improving from this routine. I will definitely be doing this for a long time.

I baggy FAITHFULLY every night. I use either a spritz or some very watered down conditioner, I focus on my ends. I noticed it doesn't work for every conditioner though.

Baggying has saved my ends. I just use a moisturizer of my choice usually ORS olive oil or BB growth lotion. Then I seal with Africa's best herbal oil or lately I've been using Hollywoodbeauty castor oil. I love this method. My hair is never damp in the morning, I don't apply alot of product. I have VERY dry hair and this is the one method that keeps it moisturized.

oh thats great!!!
i started thinking hmm maybe this isnt benefiting me
but i see you ladies all are "nats" and ar baggying!!
great i hope over time i see that it has worked as well

yep. i baggy nearly every night. Either i'll add a water based moisturizing lotion to my ends OR i'll just dampen my ends with leave-in and then add castor oil to seal it in. Afterwards I wrap my ends into a bun or some kinda knot and throw a plastic sandwich baggy over that held with a scrunchie. I take it off in the morning. If i'm not going anywhere i may leave it on all day.

I divide my hair into two puffs and spray a light protein leave on the ends followed by hemp or avocado butter.

If I'm in twists than I saturate with a moisturizing leave in and a bit of butter and put a plastic cap and scarf around my head.

I have an example of the latter technique in my fotki.

I tend to do this once or twice a week. If I do it too often than my ends begin to snap off or get mushy.

oh okay good
thanks everybody for your responses
i guess i can continue then

I baggy every night. I just put some cornrows in so I baggy the ends and then baggy my whole head.
