Can I use Nexxus emergencee

conditioner on my hair one week after relaxing? and can I mix it with keraphix or any other conditioner of my choice? TIA

Hi Cafe, I usually use the Emergencee a week before my relaxer. I have used the product 2 weeks after a touch-up with excellent results. However, I don't believe this product should be mixed with another protein conditioner. Emergencee is one of the stronger treatments and Keraphix is a lighter protein conditioner. In my opinion the Emergencee is strong enough on its own and should always be followed by a moisturizing conditioner. I have only used Keraphix a few times(I prefer TIGI Dumb Blonde Reconstructor) an even though it is a creamy conditioner I still followed this with a moisturizing conditioner.

I always do emergencee a week after relaxing but I don't mix it with anything. I think that might alter what the product is suppose to do which is to strengthen and stop breakage. I follow with a moisturizing conditioner to soften and add needed moisture to my hair. Others may do it differently but, I just want to make sure that I get the "full effect" of what the product is designed to do. Hope this help's.
