I was thinking that it wouldn't straighten my hair. Can I leave it on longer if I use mild. My mom thinks I should use mild because it's better for my hair but I was thinking a mild couldn't straighten texture.
I have used a mild relaxer (Affirm to be exact) and it worked just as well, with a little smoothing. My stuff is rough too girl, so I say go ahead and use the mild.
Well I want my hair to get straight where I can wash and go. I used Elasta regular last time and it didn't hold that well. Basically it reverted after the first week and it look like I was on my 4th week.

Can I leave it on longer than when I use regular?

same with me. it seems lye relaxers arent doing that great of relaxing my hair as straight as i'd like. and since i dont use heat or rollerset i need my hair to be straight so i can just wash, airdry and not look a mess.elasta qp didnt work for me either.
I use Affirm Mild Lye formula and I'm 3C/4A. I leave it in much longer than the recommended time, because it takes me a while to apply it. It still doesn't get my hair bone straight, but I like it that way.
