Blowdry my hair on a low/cool setting 1 or two times a week? :look: :look: :look:

I mean, as long as Iincorporate enough moisture/protein and quality products, I 'll be okay... right? Does anyone do this? :spinning:

Doesn't it seem that when you really need help/a response you can never get a reply? I hate that. I'll respond to you sista girl. I would say also keep ends moisturised and use heat protectant. Before LHCF I would blow dry my hair once a week and flat iron several times a week and I did alright. (most times without heat protectant). And my hair still grew. I trimmed my ends more, but it still grew. Good luck with your decision

i thnk u can, im relaxed and up until recently i was co washing everyday which results in my hair being wet all the time and i jus got tired of it. right now im on an 8 month stretch and i co wash on weekends and blowdry on low with a widetooth comb with heatprtectant and leave-in then i do a braid out making sure i seal my ends. the rest of the week i wear my hair in a clip cuz im in the mil if i go out ill take the braids down and wear it out and i moisturize and seal at least twice a day. And i havent seen any breakage so far

when my hair was its longest and healthiest I straightened once a week. the key is that I normally would co-wash 3-4 times a week, and deep conditioned before I straightened... I also let my hair airdry 80% before the blow dryer came near my head, and only on the med or low setting!!!

It depend on your hair. Some people's hair can take it, some can't. Some hair are more prone to damage than others and requires more TLC. So it's hard to tell you how exactly your hair will react. I know mine couldn't take it but I know plenty of other people who's hair can take it.

Could you clarify your question? You thread reads "CAN I STILL MY LENGTH AND....". i don't see a question.
