Does this look like it would damage natural hair? Is this used as a flat iron or a blow dry. I'm asking because in the description part is says "The unique vented design allows warm air to circulate more freely for super fast blow-drying". Has anyone used this before?

I wanted to try it but I fell in love with my FHI dryer with the comb attachment.

I don't know why I didn't read the package directions on sally's website. I didn't know that you have to use the hair dryer WITH this thing.

I have something similar and while it does work to straighten the hair while blow drying, the bristles are the spawn of Satan.

I have the brush. I personally prefer to use a round brush when flat ironing. However this brush will give you smooth results and work well just as long as you fully detangle before using it. If you don't fully detangle you can get a lot of breakage using this tool.
