I want to order mesh rollers online but I don't know what size would be appropriate.I prefer loose curls.Nothing tight at all.

I don't think my hair is long enough to require a jumbo.I'm not even brastrap.
Since you prefer loose curls and your hair is quite long, you could probably use 4-6 jumbo rollers at the crown (if your hair is all one length of course).

Good luck! :)

Why don't you like them?

it's a TASK getting the wet hair to stick to it and it doesnt get the hair as smooth as when using magnetic rollers, most likely because of the texture of it. too bad i cant find the kind albane uses, im sure those would be perfect.

The kind that Albane uses can only be found in France. They are hard to find in the States and one fancy hair salon tried to sell them for about $40 a pack! In my experience, they are good, but not as good as plain old magnetic rollers for smooth sets.

Hey guy! Ive been rollersetting my hair for years and its hands down the only thing that has grown my hair. I use magnectic rollers but I prefer the blue mesh rollers to roll my hair with. They dont get it as smooth as the magnectic but I can pull my hair taunt better and thus my hair is longer (not fluffy and full like with magnectic rollers). Also, with magnectic my hair tends to frizz up more. Only problem is that the blue mesh wire are like a million dollars and must be ordered from Paris. LUCKILY, Im going to Paris soon so you best believe Im gonna stock up. Lemme know if you guys want me to pick some up for y'all

I'm glad you volunteered. You can kindly pick me up some of those blue mesh rollers. Or, share an online source to order. I've got to learn to rollerset my own hair since I'm stuck in Vegas with no stylist recommendations. I'm going to have to start practicing...:ohwell:

I would like to know if there is an online source also. I have plenty of mesh rollers but I don't like them. My set is not smooth.

The only place that I know to get them is directly from Paris. There is an area there that sells a lot of products for black women. Be careful when buying them, because there are several qualities and you want the one that has the densest netting for the best sets.

During my last trip to Paris I stocked up and bought a ton and found that, quite frankly, the cheapo magnetic rollers work best for my hair and cause it to dry more smoothly. I only use these rollers when I want my hair to dry super quick. With these rollers and my beloved Pibbs Kwik dry I can have my hair dry in 20-30 minutes and my hair is several inches past my shoulders.

Ditto! I could never find the blue ones.
