A friend of mine had one a while back and since then her hair has changed. It still grows but texture, length, all that thinned out. She wasn't pregnant long so I'm curious as to if it's possible.

I would think so. Pregnancy wreaks havoc on a woman's hormones such that teeth, skin, hair and even shoe size can change.

I'm thinking also stress and depression can affect your hair...don't know if this applies to her situation.

Yes it can...

Pregnancy affect some women hormones a great deal... Don't really matter if it was for a short time.. Hormones take some time to go back to pre-pregnancy status, so it could very well have affected your friend hair.

stress and hormone fluctuations can definitely damage hair, skin and nails. major shifts like that can take months to get over. Also, even with a short pregnancy, a womans body can go through many hormone shifts. still, i would imagine that the stress or grief would cause more damage than the actual miscarriage perhaps. she can turn it around though, it just takes time and tlc.

Pregnancy can definitely change your hair. Many women experience thicker, healthier hair through pregnancy and then have a lot of shedding and breakage once the pregnancy is over. I would imagine this would be true even in the case of a miscarriage.
