Okay I havent been in this arena for some time, maybe months... but I know someone can help a sista out...

ooh, ooh, ooh, you should get some of that wet and wavy weave (sew-in, possibly Yaki) where you just have to spray it and scrunch it to keep it wavy. I

My mom has beautiful dark skin and when she got this installed this Hispanic guy tried to hit on her (he though she was Puerto Rican), lol!

YES GIRL WE ARE GETTING CLOSE NOW....

NAME OF HAIR: YAKI RIGHT?!

LENGTH: WHAT ABOUT LengtH ?

PERM: should I get it this weekend or just wait 3 weeks till after I take out the sew-in?

Human Hair called Water Wave which needs to be wet in order to create the deep set wave. Zig zave wave (2nd pic) will give smaller ringlets. For larger ringlets like your pic Deep wave (3rd pic)

If you are talking in regards to getting a relaxer and then how long to wait to get a weave installed you should wait at least 2 weeks but 1 week if you prefer not to wait that long. If you are just following up behind another weave install then you can do another weave immediately but you should at least deep condition in between your installs to keep your hair healthy. If you do decide to postpone getting a relaxer and getting the weave then wait at least a week after your install before relaxing.

nah I am saying that tomorrow I was going to get a perm, and then next week a sew in....

i was thinking that maybe I should hold off on perm, get a nice wash and set with roots blown out.... then get the sew-in next week... then like the 11th weekend get perm...

You can perm your edges that will be out and leave the rest alone so you can get your weave next weekend. And try looking up Sensationnel hair for a curl that might match what you're looking for.

that's what i was gonna say. if you just do the blowout, once your hair gets wet then your roots will revert right? (or are you not planning on getting wet? :look:)

I would perm just my edges as well. Maybe even the part you plan to leave out, but not the whole head. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Another option would be to get a full head weave especially if you don't wanna deal with hassle of trying to get your hair to blend.

A full head is not even that bad of an option... Ladies weekend marks the 8th WEEK mark, which is generally when I get my perms...

Thanks alll for suggestions...

Thanks for this info.! I haven't had a sew in in a minute but this tempts me! It's so cute and it looked great on my mom!

Yaki is straight hair. Buy wet n wavy or french wave for more of a soft small wave/curl. For a looser wave get a body wave. Don't get the deep wave it looks too phony, IMO.

ETA: Get all your hair covered if you can so you don't have to worry about blending.

who used saga hair and did u like it.....can u swim in this hair w/o it matting up. i always see this hair and i have yet to buy it.

When going with a curly weave and leaving your hair out, you must BLEND your hair with the weave otherwise it will not look good. If you leave your hair out in the pic that you have posted you should style your hair to blend with the weave hair, which usually means heat with a curling iron, or you can wet set your hair that is out, or put the hair that is out in twists or braids
