I use no-lye and my hair isn't dry at all (you can look at my album and see). The last time I permed my hair it dried out somewhat because I left it in a little too long, but otherwise my hair is always moisturized.

I used pcj no-lye for almost 20 years before i decided to transition. I never had any problems, my hair was always full of body and hardly ever dry except during the harsh northeast winters.

Nothing to add about relaxers, but wondering when you're going to put pictures of your new 'do up MsK.

My hair is no-lye. I make sure my hair is moisturized at all times so dryness isn't an issue.

Pink Flower, I used to use S&B a long time ago, my hair was very healthy except for the nape which just seemed to erase itself. What type of hair do you have? Our hair looks very similiar, but sometimes pics are deceiving. I switched to Affirm Fiberguard, but my hair never seems to look silky unless I flat iron it.
