Im going shopping this weekend for new hair products. I think it's time i experiment with different prOducts seen as im now transitioning.
I want to go out there with a list of things to look out for, so please list what you like to use for the following. You can also add what you love about it if you want. Thanks.

Pre-poo

Shampoo

Conditioner

Deep conditioner

Protein

Light protein

Leave-in/daily moisteriser

I think that's about it, if you think i've missed anything out that i should be looking for, just add your suggestion.

TIA

I absolutely LOVE Neutrogena Triple Moisture for a conditioner to use for daily co-washes. I'm still searching for the perfect leave-in. Good luck in your search!!!!

I am a low maintenance natural, so I don't do the pre-poo. But, here are my recommendations:

Pre-poo

Shampoo- Curls Curliscious Cleansing Creme

Conditioner- Suave Milk and Honey, or any Suave Conditioner

Deep conditioner- Curls Asian Hair Tea

Protein- If and when I do this, I use Aubrey GBP

Light protein

Leave-in/daily moisteriser- Cathy Howse's UBH Moisturizer, or Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Cream. I use a homemade spritz on my hair daily also. It contains conditioner, water, any oil, and glycerin. HTH!

I think that's about it, if you think i've missed anything out that i should be looking for, just add your suggestion.

TIA[/quote]

Pre-poo: honey & olive oil

Shampoo: Aubrey Organics Island Naturals or Kenra Moisturizing

Conditioner: Suave milk and honey or coconut

Leave-in: Elucence moisture balancing conditioner or 1:4 conditioner and water, and 2 tsp oil

Daily moisturizer: Water, then west african shea butter mixed with jojoba oil. Castor oil. Qhemet's amla and olive is good.

Pre-poo- I like to use VO5 moisture Milks, or for a pre-poo protein mayo. Or a castor oil blend

Shampoo- Soft Sheen Carsons breakthro

Conditioner- I like Moisture Milks, and Hello Hydration

Deep conditioner- Sarlem Weat Germ & Ganrier Sleek and Shine

Protein- right now just Eggs, mayo and molasses

Light protein- as a natural I don’t feel right using a heavy one.

I'm a real PJ at heart, but I am just tooo cheap to give in to it. lol These products are inexpensive and available everywhere. I'd love to try some of the more luxurious brands, but I'm not there yet.

I know you said you are going shopping this weekend, but most of the products I purchase are online.

Pre-poo-- I use Horsetail Herbal Reconstructor from myhoneychild.com

Shampoo-- Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil shampoo

Conditioner-- Any Aubrey Organics conditioner but I love the Honeysuckle Roses' smell

Deep conditioner-- See pre poo

Protein-- Elasta QP protein serum

Light protein--- nothing

Leave-in/daily moisteriser-- Asha's heavenly hair pudding from myashas.com or Wild Growth oil. I also make my own tea mixture and pour in a little 911 conditioner for morning mistings.

Pre-poo: I do not pre-poo

Shampoo: Hello hydrated by herbal essence weekly and suave daily clarifying one a month

Conditioner: Hello hydration by herbal essence or pantene daily moisture renewal

Deep conditioner: I do not currently deep condition but I think I will start again soon

Protein

Light protein: infusiam 23 leave in after washing

Leave-in/daily moisteriser: pantene hydrating curls daily comb in treatment for now but when this is done I want to try giovanni direct or that new aussie moist leave in cream. I seal my ends with grease.

I hope that helps.

I'm a pretty low maintenance nappy so I don't use too many products.

Pre-poo - I don't do this

Shampoo - when I use shampoo I stick to Cream of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo (green and white bottle)

Conditioner - Suave Tropical Coconut Conditioner (for co-wash); Neutrogena Triple Moisture (for detangling)

Deep conditioner - nothing

Protein - Aphogee Reconstructor mixed with melted shea butter and coconut oil

Light protein - nothing for this

Leave-in/daily moisteriser - H20/suave conditioner/glycerin (only in summer)/olive oil combo

That's it.

Pre-poo Very rarely I'll use Aveda's Sap Moss Nourishing Concentrate. But normally I don't bother with pre-poo.

Shampoo I adore Alterna's Hemp Hydrate, it's sulfate free, very gentle, made with hemp seed oil (my favorite) but it's really expensive so I don't use it at every wash. Nexxus's Therappe. Redken's All Soft. Nexxus Phyto Organics Hydruss and Inergy

Conditioner Alterna's Hemp Hydrate Conditioner. Alterna's White Truffle Conditioner(disgustingly expensive :ohwell: )Nexxus's Humectress. Redken's All Soft Heavy Cream. Aveda's Cherry Almond Bark. Nexxus Phyto Organics Humectin.

Deep conditioner See above. All of my conditioners are deep conditioners. I deep condition at every shampoo

Protein Rarely I use Nexxus's Emergencee. I don't like to use too much heavy protein, I've found my hair needs moisture more.

Light protein Nexxus's Keraphix. Nexxus Phyto Organics Enphuse.

Leave-in/daily moisturizer Water and a few drops of hemp seed oil to seal it in for everyday moisture. I use a litte Humectress as a creamy leave in after I wash my hair and I seal it with avocado butter.

Pre-poo

Shampoo Any natural castille poo. I find they aren't as harsh

Conditioner Herbal Essence Hello Hydration

Deep conditioner Miss Key 10 en 1

Protein

Light protein

Leave-in/daily moisteriser Qhemet Biologics Alma and Olive Oil Heavey Cream

Detangler Giovanni Direct Leave In

Hey Bubln!! Or should I call you natural-ti :D Great to see you over here. The pic in your siggy is awesome.

OH yeah!! I forgot to add the oils I use. I just discovered and fell in love with castor oil. I only use it on wet/damp hair. If I need something lighter, I'll use coconut oil.
