You just have to try this...for real. I know everyone knows about the Redken Butter Treat but I used this tonight and my hair is so soft I don't know what to do with myself. Here is what I did:
I co-washed with some Ojon Tawaka Condish - you can use any condish this is what is in my bathroom and I like it. It's great for naturals if you can get over the price tag. It's cone free and has a great chocolatey scent. I didn't like it at first but I love it now (that is for another post). I followed that up with a sweet almond oil rinse mixed with some Suave Humectant for the detangling session. The tangles just fell out of my hair. Thanks Sareca. I detangled with my fingers and used the denman to pull out the shed hairs. It was great. I followed that up with another co-wash to get rid of some of the oil, you could light poo I guess. I'm trying to limit the poos. Then I followed up with Redken Butter Treat but amped up with some honey and coconut oil and it was like
going in. Showered, cleaned my brush, blah, blah, blahed. I washed it out and it was ok. I came out and put in my regular moisturized plus something new and at first my hair wasn't cool. I was a little scared cause it was hard, but it's drying now and it's sooooooooooooooooooooooo soft. It also smells yummy from the coconut oil.
I owe the softness to the butter treat - get it yall. For reals - this is the ish. I loved it before the honey and coconut oil but now I'm in LUVVVVV. This is here to stay for me. My hair has never been this soft. Try it you know you want to....I want everyone to just touch it...
