Try putting on a bonnet, then the plastic bag then a bonnet or scarf over that. You can get the same heat and some moisture build up without as much irritation.

I can only baggy with the plastic bag for about 30 minutes before I'm scratching and if I try to do it overnight I'm miserable :nono:

I'm going to try that! When I normally do it, it itches in the back (closer to my neck and the middle of my head) once I take the plastic off it's like a wave of itchy hell.

I'll give your suggestion a try next time I baggy :)

I baggied almost every night when I was natural (except when I wore sew-ins). Now that I'm relaxed again, I'm going to try baggying to see if it's still going to help me retain length.

When I was relaxed/texlaxed I baggy for over 2 yrs and went from SL to past BSL in 15 months.

Try Cheveux Bon Bon bonnets. They are satin lined with plastic so no need for a scarf or cap. The elastic does not give me a headache, but it stays on securely at night. I saw a review on YouTube so I bought one. I baggy about 2x's a month. I don't wanna deal with wet hair in the morning.

I baggy about 4x's per week....with a cowash in between. It does wonders for keeping my moisture levels up, and definitely helps retain length.:yep:
