How many pins do you use in each roller and at what angles are they inserted? I'm having trouble keeping them in. Thanks :)

I can't answer your question,but the rollerset in your album is rocking! What products did you use before you set your hair? How long did it take you?

Umm products. I did a co wash with Cream of Nature Nourishing, applied Rusk Smoother and used a little Black and Sassy Shine serum on each section before rolling. The snap ons are so easy for me to use, its takes me about 15-20 mins :)

One pin for each roller. The pin should be inserted at an angle where there is enough tension and the roller will stay in but it shouldn't poke you so that it hurts.

Not to hijack your thread or anything (I know you were asking about mesh rollers, sorry I can't help) but do you ever use the snap on rollers on wet hair? Thanks!:)

What Nay007 said, and I use one pin for each roller too.

For the first roller in a row, will put the pin at an angle as Nay explained in order to keep it in place thanks to the pressure generated by the end of the pin along your scalp. Then for the next rollers, I will simply put 1 or 2 pins going through the roller into the previous roller.
Just have a look on some pictures on my Fotki album at

Pwd = hair
I hope it helps

Thank you, this is very helpful!

That's why I don't use the pins; I can't keep them in either. I use either the plastic or metal duckbill clips; works just as well for me. :nod:
