C&G Braid Size Question

Hi Ladies,
I am planning on getting braids for the first time in yearsssssss. I know on the Crown and Glory website, Robin recommends getting braids the size of a pencil, bc she said medium size braids grown hair better than small. I am really not a fan of chunky braids, and would prefer to get smaller sized braids. Has anyone had success with smaller braids (ie - good hair growth and no breakage?)

I'm having good growth with my micro braids that I did my self.

I don't know how to go get the thread sorry. maybe some one can post it here for you.

I've been on C&G since Oct 05. I've done regular ol' individuals every time except the last time and my hair is thriving. Last time I got dukey braids. I didn't like 'em at all so I wouldn't be doing that again. I think you'll be fine.
