In hair purgatory
my current staple is beyond the zone wax stick but i would like something thats easier to get because i do not live close to a sallys. i would like something very thick, somewhat tacky, gives shine and smells good or neutral. please do not recommend shea butter. thanks in advance

are you trying to lay your edges down with it or just for hold?

for holding styles like bantu knot-outs, braidouts, etc I like Motions Shine Pomade. It makes the hair very shiny, is non-greasy, and smells good.
For a great edge product, I love ORS Edge Control. You can't use too much, or it'll flake, but it's great stuff.

The garnier fructis shine wax is pretty good, but its a little to thick for me. But since that what you are looking for, I think it might work. I love Aura Humactant Pomade (generic aveda), but it isn't very thick.

I really like shea aloe butter. I know you said not shea butter so I hope this is okay to you. It is all you asked for and it's my new love. HTH

Seyani hair butter by Shescentit is lovely. Its whipped and melts nicely into the hair. May not be as thick as you need it but the vanilla almond scent is intoxicating!

Elasta QP mango butter is not whipped and helped me maintain my ends (when used nightly) in almost perfect condition for months. Also amazing for laying down edges and keeping then down for days!

The only things that come to my mind (Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade & Hairveda's Almond Glaze) don't seem to meet your recommendations.

Wait, what about La Vida Given By Nature's Ginger Juices and Berries?

If you aren't against using mineral oil or petrolatum products, the options are bountiful!

grease is my boo! i have no issues with it because it usualy gives me the look i want:yep:

i think i am just gonna buy it online. i lurve that wax stick to pieces
