I say make your own head bands, that way you can make them to the size you need. As far as hat, get the kind that stretch or buy the kind for bigger heads. They may cost more though.

Girl, if I can find hats that fit my big 'ead, and we're not even considering the hair, just the head, then so can you. You may just have to do a bit of searching or find a site that sells hats by size and take that into account. You may have to smooth your hair and pin it down in the area that will be under the hat so it fits and just let the rest of the hair puff out. Or if you're going for a look where all your hair is under the hat, you may have to French braid it--if you do it going forward, it works nicely as you aren't stuck with a tail end that needs hiding in the back. Or you may be going for that look where that tail is peeking in the back. Some hats have--or maybe "used to have" is a better way of putting it--elastic strings that you could hook under your hair at you nape to hold the hat in place. Maybe you can sew one on?

^^^^^ bwahahaha... i dunno wut i was thinkin lol!... guess i didnt think of buyin hats that were bigger... i'm just not much of an online shopper...
