BUNING STYLES FOR SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR

Let's face it, the chinese bun, figure 8 etc. are all beautiful - but what's the point if it can't work for your hair length ?

I did a search on youtube and found some videos I thought I would share:

sidebar: I'd really like to see/find a video of a chinese bun, figure 8 etc. but for shoulder length hair - that LOOKS GOOD. Sistaslick has some great photos on buns, but my hair just isn't that long or thick, so it doesn't work. Maybe there's an alternative:scratchch

Another Sidebar: can protective styling be damaging? I'm thinking even though your hair is protected, it's still being pulled back in one...

That is my siggy bun as well! Thank you for the vid! It helped me change up my daily donut bun.

Kimmay has a nice bun style that uses a banana clip. Sadly I don't have one at the moment or I would be rocking this for the summer.

The actual bun starts at 1:40 and you can do this on loose hair too.

I'm getting my hair braided today - I will try the chinese bun, once I find a stick.

I did end up going to the BSS and bought the clip for my ends, like what you used in your video
