Hey all! So Last night, I wrapped my hair with a silk scarf after co-washing earlier that day. I don't know how to do a wrap so I didn't even attempt it lol. Therefore, I took one of those old school scrunchies, coated it in an oil moisturizer, and proceeded to style my hair into a bun. I put a silk scarf on and went to sleep, but after waking up around noon and taking the bun out, the ends of my hair looked a little fragile and certain portions of it broke off without any white bulbs showing it came from my scalp. Is there anything that I could've done wrong or do buns just not work well with relaxed styles? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

It was a high bun, but I tried to do it as loosely as I could. Are high buns worse?
