BT users who rollerset...

Do they shorten the life of your rollerset? Do the great results make it worth it if they do shorten how long the rollersets last?


Curious, because after reading some fotkis I'm purchase happy (I'm not a product junkie, I actually only have shampoo, deep conditioner, and olive oil as products) and have decided to get lacio lacio, silica mix, and a pro gold soft bonnet dryer for roller-sets..but I want to try BT too to help grow my hair out.....

ANyone using BT and maintaining theire sets?

I rollerset and use BT. BT does kinda ruin the rollerset in the sense that after I apply, my hair is no longer flowing in the wind. But that happens whenever you put anything on your scalp, it just weighs the hair down. Just put minimal amounts and you should be fine. (I'm still working on my heavy handedness, but I'm getting better! ) Some ladies, in order not go overboard with BT (Which is easy to do) is they pour a little dab on a surface, dip their finger in and then apply to the scalp versus applying straight from the bottle.

And to answer your question, yes I think the results from BT are enough for you to forget the fact that your rollerset might not last forever.

Naw! now with your head of hair I need to get a grip- I don't think it should make a huge difference since its and oil mixture(no water/moisture) HTH

Oh..I cut all that off last weekend . It's up to my neck now, all even. I was trying to get rid of relaxed ends...but my lack of products is not b/c I'm trying to keep it simple..I just don't know what my hair needs yet.

I'll still try the BT, I think, even with the rollersets. I'd rather have rapid growth and be forced to put my hair up after a couple of days.
