Ok lol well I've been cutting my own hair since my last relaxer (Thanksgiving 09)

I got a cut at the salon last december when I got my first texlax. From here on out, I am going to be responsible for my own cuts. I dust here and there and will do a little trim after my bi-annual length check in June.

My husband does mine for me. Since he never wants me to get it cut for fear of someone else butchering it lol. He trims straight across. When I reach my goal I plan to go to a a hair cutting place to get a trim in a U shape. He might accompany me .

This makes me sad. I was hopin' I would get some encouragement to trust someone else to do it (like a stylist) but I guess...I just need to get some mirrors and shears and go to work for the cut I want.

Oh well, I guess I am used to it now.

lol I trust my previous stylists. I had two that I trusted. They never cut more than needed and my hair definitely grew going to them. But I can't afford it so I do it myself. There are some good stylists out there that will be beneficial to your hair journey. They may just be hard to find.

Professional in a salon that I can trust to be truthful about what needs to come off and has to be told twice to take any more off. If she were to leave I would learn how to do my own.

I would love Reneice to cut my hair but she is so busy.
