Bridal Hair Candy.

This is the fascinator/hair candy I made for my cousin for her wedding.

She had a huge, long veil for her wedding and she didn't want to drag it around at the reception. Plus, the back of her dress was the BOMB...so we wanted something to show it off.

She put this on at the reception.

Well I started making them this summer to practice for the wedding. I think I'm gonna start making them though. This one was on a barrette. I made the others with tuck combs.

Yeah, she really did. I coordinated the wedding as well as participated as a bridesmaid. I am still recuperating...LOL

Yup, she got married at Jones Chapel at Meredith College on Hillsborough St.

The veil was long, but went with the theme of the wedding and the decor of the chapel. She loved the veil so that's what matters. She didn't know if she would get it because she didn't want to lug it around at the reception, so that's when I came up with this idea.
