i used this my senior year of high school (back on st. thomas). my hair responded well to this product. i really want to retry it again, but i'm afraid because it has protein in it and the weather in philly is going to be cold soon, and i don't think that's a great combo, being that i will need to up the moisture level in the coming months.
ok thanks
i have questions so when you use this you can't use it because it has protein and the weather?. what does the weather have to do with protein i am just asking cause i never knew that it was bad for the hair during colder months
I don't think it really has much protein in it. Also I've never heard of protein-cold weather being harmful either. I think Islandgirl meant that during colder weather you need all the moisture you can get so she would choose a highly moisturizing product over one that contains protein. I'm not sure though.
The reason why I didn't buy this is it has Mineral oil, Petrolatum, and Parrafin as main ingredients which are all petroleum derivatives. The ingredient list overall did not impress me enough. Everybody's different though, it could work out great for you.

that's exactly what i meant! just like you souldchild, i also didn't want to try it again due to the mineral oil, pertroleum content (back then i didn't care about ingredients) but after reading this board for a year now, i sorta stay away from those ingredients
I got it. It works fine for me. Helps me godo w/breakage but i will say what is REALLY better is ORS carrot oil, oo wee. in seconds ya hair stops breaking in the spot u put it in, or at least u notice a dramatic less amount of hair in ya hand when u put it in ya hair after applying it.
