I don't think there is an absolute number. It would be impossible to count how many hairs you lose in a day. Some fall without you even seeing them, some go down the drain, some stay in the comb/brush...I think it's impossible to say for sure. Not to mention everyone's hair cycle and rate of hair shed is different. I think the only reasonable way to determine is to know who much you shed on a regular basis. So that means you have to have been paying attention to this over a period of time. If you notice that you start to lose more than what is normal for you, or if you notice your hair becoming thinner, then you need to take corrective action. Hopefully you can pick up on the extra hair loss before the thinning begins. HTH!![]()
