Hi everyone! First off, i'm new. I would like to thank you all because i have been spying on all of your posts for the last couple weeks and i have to say, all your advice has truly made my hair THRIVE!!! I have gotten so much new growth through the co washes and love the henna results. Any who... i've been trying a fall/ quickweave (they are the same, right?) I overheard a woman complaining that by wearing it she has noticed breakage at her crown where the combs are inserted into her hair. This is kinda worrying me, because i have only been using this fall for about a week, and now i'm scared to continue using it because i don't want to experience the same problem :perplexed I have also seen this happen to a close friend of mine's mother, but her hair was already very fragile. this lady however, hair was very thick and healthy looking. Any who, has this happened to any of you? And do any of you have any suggestions on how i may prevent this from happening, is there is anything i can do? Because i REALLY love this fall and it's workin for me (so i've been told...)! Anything ladies? :ohwell:

Welcome! I see someone posted the link to the thread about this topic already. I hope it helps! I wear falls sometimes and I haven't had any damage. You just have to insert the combs carefully (or use bobby pins instead). I also recommend removing the fall at night - DON'T SLEEP IN IT!

I used to wear one religously until I got breakage at the crown. My hair at the crown is very fine and breaks easily and those combs were just too much.
