BREAKAGE!!!! AAAHHHH!!!

I have a question (hahaha!! I always have a question) But, anyways, when i am doing my nightly regimen of moisturizing and braiding m hair in two braids there are always little pieces that break off... It's not like the sink is covered but, it is enough to be worried like at least 10-15 hairs that vary in size. . I was wondering if this is normal or should I be worried?? Please help I need as much as I can get. I am so worried for my hair.

Some of your ends are not trimmed. This happened to me...about 4-5 ends in the sink but they were not there before. I got a very slight trim and now I see that there are 4 or 5 but shorter...about 1/4 inch.

I figured out that these are the last of my bone-straight ends that are breaking off. Once i figured that out, I am OK with it. My thickness will be back in one quarter inch.

Can't say for sure if this is what's happening with you but...the breakage I get is also because of my heat stretched ends. Once those are completely gone (since I'm not BC-ing) I don't expect to see as much breakage.

Thank You!!! I kinda thought that they might be just the COMPLETELY dead ends. I might do a dusting this weekend because my hair is really growing. And I can do that without going to much shorter. Do you think this will help??
