I found this video on the Roundbrushhair's blog. I apologize if this has been posted before, but I found it very informative.

I was curious about the treatment, and I learned that it is not a chemical service. The video said it can even be done right after a relaxer. But this looks like a good alternative for naturals or transitioners who like to get their straight.
I also like the nifty little combing tool she uses with the flat iron. Seems like would help with thick and curly hair. every blue moon I flatiron both of my daughters' natural hair which is extremely curly and long. Plus, I'm thinking about transitioning without BC-ing....What is that tool called? Does anyone know where I can purchase it?
