I have a professional clothes steamer that is used in stores. With the long handle that rests on a holder with the attachement on the end. It holds a lot of water. I am planning to find an ole portable hair dryer and take the cap off of it and use it at the end of a connecting bag I plan to sew. Ladies, this equipment is sitting unused in my home and I think it's time it got some play. 99% of the work is done and it really throws some steam in nice spurts. I should be able to get more of the steam in half the time from a regular hair steamer. Who said that "necessity is the mother of invention"? I am so glad this clicked in my mind before I wasted money ordering something on the net that I may not have been happy with for about $400 Canadian. Yes!!!! Bonjour

This is great the way everyone is being creative for a hair steamer! I was thinking about the clothes steamer too. I just don't have one though. lol.

I use my clothes steamer, as I said in another thread.

I use a detachable bonnet, same one I use for my hair dryer. Works wonderfully.

What are the benefits of steaming your hair??
I'm guessing added moisture??
