Braids/Senegalese twists

A friend of mine just got senegalese twists and her scalp is itching from oil sheen. Does anyone know the best product to use on the scalp to relieve the itching?

She can try a light antiseptic like witch hazel. I know some people use sea breeze. Just put a little on a cloth and go over the scalp.

I've tried witch hazel, a little tea tree oil or peppermint oil, or simply some luke-warm water in a nozzled bottle helps me a lot because I haven't mastered washing my hair while in twists, this is how I wash my hair.
