Braids....Help!!!

Ladies,
Can u reccomend a leave in i can use when braiding my own hair to keep it soft and still give it a hold. Thanks. Adrienne did recommend SCurl but i would love other recommendations.

nonie, that was an excellent suggestion, one I was going to make myself. I usually put my hair into braids (which I now have) from the end of Sept. until well into the spring. Since we will be out of the country from Jan - July of next year, I'm keeping them in until we get back. I braid my own hair so I'll take them down each month to wash/cond/and give my head a break. However, I do wash then every 2 weeks w/diluted CON. I hope to have some great pics to share after I have them out. I am hoping to have several inches of new hair by then.
