right now I am at 7 weeks. I usually wait 8 to relax, but would like to try to go to 12. Can I accomplish this with braids and do minimal damage? Which braid styles are safest conrows, micros, med-sized box or other? I look awful!! My bun has turned into an UN and I'm afraid I'm going to cave next week if I don't do something!

This is what I normally do! I love using braids to help stretch out my relaxer. They give my hair a much needed rest and look good in the process. As long as you keep the braids moisturized you shouldn't have any problems at all. I usually do single plaits but the options are endless. Check out my album to see my single plaits in the protective style section. Good Luck!

yeah that is what i am doing now as well , i have box braids to strech my relaxer out as well, i usually wait 6 wks but i wanna go for 12, i know that without braids , it would be really hard as i get alot of breakedge after 6 wks...moisture is key!!..u can do it with briads also!!
