I plan to get my hair braided in the next week or so. I want curly slightly larger than micro individual braids. These are mostly for my trip in June. My hair will get wet and I will need to wash.

After reading a couple of threads, I saw someone say not to use human hair because they will slip.

Soooooo, my question is why type of hair can I use that can get wet (sea and pool water) and I can wash and condition and won't get matted, tangled or look a H.A.M.?

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!!!!!!

Human hair Braids will not slip - if they are installed properly.

If you don't like HH<

I use Batik Sythetic hair, there are several curly styles available

Thanks!

The last couple of braids I had I couldn't wash. I washed the first set 2 weeks after getting them and over half of them came out.

I just want to make sure that when I bob up out of the water there isn't "evidence" left in the water....LOL

I do agree, it all depends on the way they are put in. I have been wearing braids since June 08, redoing every 2-3 months and I usually get either box braid with human hair or twist.
