What is the ideal way to take care of your hair while wearing these braids?

How long do you wear your cornrows before letting your hair rest?

While your hair is resting, what kind of treatments do you give it?

Thank ya kindly

When I wear cornrows I keep my hair moisturized by spraying a leave in conditioner on it every day and I make sure that I tie a scarf on at night. I use the crown & glory method to wash them and they don't frizz up as quick as they used to.
I usually only keep them in for about 3 weeks before they start looking too fuzzy with a forest underneath. After I take them out I wash, deep condition, and then either put some more braids or twists back in or I'll wear a puff for week until I have time to do them over.

I moisturize my scalp and hair 2x daily (once in the morning and once right before i go to bed) at night I wear a durag. I usually get my hair done on sunday nights and wear them through friday night then I wash and follow that with either the APhogee 2 step or 2 minute treatment saturday is a WNG then Sunday morning comes I cowash and airdry then let to process start all over again.

This is my first time with cornrows, but I plan on following a similar plan. I spray the braids with my moisture mix and apply my MT then rub in some melted vatika oil . At night I put the back in a bun and tie them down with a silk scarf to keep the frizzies at bay.
