Braid-Outs

I was just wondering how long everyone wears their braid out? If you wear it for a long period of time, how do you keep it looking nice? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I only wear mine for a fews days at a time...If I were interested in keeping it longer, I probably would rebraid it every night and dampin it with a little leave-in and let it dry over night. HTH

I'm usually good for five days or even six. I sleep in a satin scarf every night and don't fuss with my hair too much after the first day.

I think it just depends on how many braids you do, what products you use, how much you mess with your hair, and even your hair texture. And it's hard to recommend a specific product because there's no guarantee it will work the same for the next person. You just have to experiment.

And even with it lasting five days, by that fourth and fifth day I'm usually wearing it up or in a wavy ponytail.

I redo my twist-outs every night. My hair gets too frizzy the next day.

I can keep the style for 3 days, after that I have to rebraid or retwist. I find that flipping hair upsidedown and then putting on a scarf or satin bonnet keeps the style well preserved for a couple of days.
