why ohh why!

im lookin for a uk version of 'noodlehead'... any ideas??

You could try a few different branches of Boots. If it's discontinued there might be a few still on the shelves of smaller stores.

I didn't think much of it, it made my curls stringy, greasy and limp. I've been meaning to try it once more, and if it is rubbish again, get rid of it.

I haven't used noodlehead, so can't suggest an alternative.

But, ORS Lock & Twist gel is pretty good.

Thanks for the NC reviews link, hadn't seen that before!

Wow the girls on Naturallycurly are going to start pitching fits if they hear that. Its too bad too :( . I was wondering how Boots would do on kinky hair. If you find some please tell us how it works.

Where did you see that it was going to be discontinued?

Bad news from Boots
July 2004
A CurlTalker reports that she was informed by Boots that they have discontinued their Essentials Curling Cream. The company wrote her: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
' If you would like to know if this item is still available in Boots shops then please contact their Customer Care team on 0845 070 80 90. "

August update: Despite contray information, we've confirmed with Boots that the product has indeed been discontinued.

whooo just an up-date as i said i would let ya know if i found the cream... yes ive got a tub and its HOT!!! im luving da softness it gives!

i wash my hair in braids an i used it right after (with a lil' of my butter mix) the next morning i havent got the normal tight waves- my head bouncey as normal. and its still stoff now. usually it takes the second day braid out to give such nice looser waves but the curl creams on point mannn!!!

im mega happy (now im planing on using this, my olive oil steam con and then all other stuff should be my natural- hopefully my christmass ill be using pure natural products!)

This is another one of my favorite creams. I don't use it all the time though, since I live in the USA and I can't get Boots CC without going through a big hassle with shipping and all.

Next time I'm in the UK, I'm stocking up!

I've heard such raves about this but never tried it. It sounds great and many swear by it. Wonder why the dis-continued it? There was a user on nc that sells it.

I've seen this product recently in UK online websites. I'm thinking this update (from 2004...btw) on nc.com refers to another product or boots decided not to discontinue it.
