I got a set of bootleg extra wide, extra long ones and they are noticeably less dense than the genuine ones and some other bootlegs :(. I'm afraid they won't work. Anyone have ones like this? I' m not pleased.

The ones I have worked great even without heat. They didn't snag or pull my hair & they were very easy to remove. I've never used the originals though so I have no basis for comparison.

I have the knock offs and they are great. I bought a hook from Sally's because it's sturdier than the one that came with them. I've never used the originals so I can't compare. A good comparison is Naptural85 on YouTube she did a comparison video...which helped me decide on the knockoff version

I have a set of knock-off EWEL and they work but I'm not crazy about them. They not as comfy and they snag my hair if I'm not careful.

The EWEL set is pretty new so I don't think the bootleggers have caught up yet.

they are less dense than my others. Not flimsy but more see through. They'd better work lol.
