Bolingbrook area ladies

Does anyone here live in the Bolingbrook area of Chicagoland? It seems that a lot of people here do most of their shopping online, but I'm too impatient to do that regularly. I'm hoping to be able to share sale and other retail/salon info locally, since we have a lot of stores that are not national. If anyone is interested, please let me know!

Hey Pandora- I live in the western burbs- but I honestly don't really frequent the salons since I don't know a good place! I do go to the beauty supplies in Bolingbrook from time to time-but I find sallys to be cheaper.

I hit up Sally's alot too, but even place like Meijer and Osco should be included in this one. I haven't been to a salon in over a year either, but I would love to know of local natural salons if there are any. I'm not accustomed to going into the city for stuff like that. I tend to like to get done up BEFORE I go downtown. LOL

Hi Ladies, just wanted to chime in too to say hello, I am from Chicago orig. but live in Rockford for the time being. Why I continue asking myself did I decide to move way out here in no mans land. At least the ladies in Bollingbrook and Evanston especially are close enough to Chicago to find some good products. They have nothing out here. Which forces me to only shop online.

But will be moving back to the Chicago area next month. At least for a couple of months then I will be out of the state.

Just wanted to say hi to all my Chi town sista's

Not from the Chi but I lived in Lisle for several years before moving to ATL last year. I wasn't on the healthy hair journey then so I don't know of any good salons/BSS but I'll ask some sista girlfriends that live in the area.

Hi Chicago Ladies!
I'm from the western burbs & am always interested in buying things locally instead of the internet too....I would just love to be able to get butters from somewhere local without paying S&H and without waiting 7-10 days, just to be able walk into a shop & just buy a half pound of mango or avocado butter!

Ok, now that I know there is at least a few of us in the burbs, I was thinking of starting a group. Personally, I love to know about sales and new stores, etc. Also, its nice to know that there are some of Niko's cousins near by!
